Tone weak abdominal, back and pelvic floor muscles, Perfect for lower back injuries, pain and weakness, Great for posture correction, Ultimately help stop or prevent pain and injury.

Our version of Pilates is all about retraining our muscles. It is about control, stability and strength. It will take concentration and commitment but it works!  Originally Pilates was developed by a man called Joseph Pilates. It was designed for fit and healthy people – mainly used within the dance world.

The type of Pilates you will learn with Fun With Fitness varies slightly from the original method. It combines Pilates with physiotherapy and sports science enabling it to be used as a tool to treat pain, correct posture and re-pattern muscle firing. Fun With Fitness uses the APPI method of Pilates. Belinda is trained by the APP Institute.appi

: A Quote from the APPI Founders: Our Method The APPI has enjoyed immense success with training Physiotherapists and equivalent degree therapists in the APPI Pilates method. Our success relies on our research based approach to Pilates training. As physiotherapists, we recognise the demand for more specific Pilates training which targets the higher theoretical and practical experience of higher degree therapists. The APPI method presents the most current research relevant to Pilates and teaches a realistic framework of exercises to apply in the clinical setting.
